Leeds Castle Open Air Concert

Outdoor classical concerts are a lovely way to enjoy fantastic music in a beautiful setting. As the hampers and Champers season is fast approaching, here’s our selection of some of the best outdoor concerts in the UK.

Leeds Castle (Kent)

Sadly this event has been cancelled in accordance with UK Government guidelines to increase social distancing and to avoid large gatherings of people due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus). All tickets will be valid for next year’s concert on Saturday 10th July 2021. 

This iconic event is a highlight of the summer season,  set in the most spectacular location and natural amphitheatre in front of the beautiful Leeds Castle, reputed to be the loveliest castle in the world.  People in their thousands have attended the stunning setting across the past forty-one years to be entertained by this amazing open-air musical delight.

Battle Proms Picnic Concerts

The Battle Proms Concerts are currently going ahead, but in the event that it becomes necessary to cancel these events, any bookings would automatically be valid for the concert in 2021 and you would be offered the option of a refund.

The Battle Proms feature a 2 hour orchestral programme with all the ‘last night of the proms’ finale favourites, all in the surroundings of some of the UK’s most stunning stately homes. Expect flag-waving and a dazzling firework display!

Bedford Park Proms

Bedford Park Proms will be celebrating its 25th anniversary in style, with a night of classical music and spectacular lasers and fireworks. Some of the UK’s most eminent soloists will join the London Gala Orchestra and the Bedford Choral Society for this stunning silver anniversary celebration

BMW Classics

Trafalgar Square will once again be transformed into a giant music stage as Sir Simon Rattle and the London Symphony Orchestra present the BMW Classics. The orchestra will be joined by young musicians from the LSO On Track programme in East London and musicians from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

Proms in the Park, Bournemouth

The Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra presents its open-air concerts at Meyrick Park, Bournemouth, complete with fireworks, laser lights, and pyrotechnics.
Dates: Friday, 31 July: Relaxed Family Picnic (12 – 3pm)
Friday, 31st July: Classical Extravaganza with fireworks finale (8pm)

The BP Big Screens 

The BP Big Screens will be back this year with some of the world’s most popular operas and ballets broadcast live from the Royal Opera House. Check back a bit later!

BBC Proms in the Park, Hyde Park, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland

Proms in the Park is part of the annual spectacular culmination of two months of music-making at the BBC Proms, as the world-famous Last Night celebrations spill out from London’s Royal Albert Hall and thousands of people come together at venues across the UK to be part of the magic of the Last Night.

Kneller Hall Concerts in the Park

Every year the Royal Military School of Music hosts a series of summer concerts that are open to the public.
Dates: Friday, 26th June and Saturday, 27th June, 2020, at 8pm.
Venue: Kneller Hall, Kneller Road, Twickenham, TW2 7DN.
